Background:

Beginning in April 2021, the Township of Lake of Bays put forward a Request for Proposal for a Service Delivery Review to find ways to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Township's operations. In June, MNP LLP was awarded the tender. The review included the following phases:

  • Phase 1: Staff Engagement (July 2021).
  • Phase 2: Community Engagement through a survey (September 2021).
  • Phase 3: Executive Summary Report is being presented to Council and the public (November 9, 2021).

Based on the recommendations provided by MNP, Council and Staff may adjust the Township's current procedures and operations to ensure that municipal information and services are easily accessible to the public.
